Extended Gratitude: Top Free Meals and Deals Available After Veterans Day

If you missed out on the free meals, deals and discounts offered on Veterans Day, it’s not too late! Businesses nationwide are extending their heartfelt gratitude to military heroes through the weekend by offering free meals and deals on Sunday and Monday as well. 

Here is a list of restaurants and stores offering free meals and deals on Sunday, November 12th, and Monday, November 13th!

Veterans Day Free Meals and Deals on Sunday, November 12th

Academy Sports

Academy Sports is offering veterans 10% off their entire purchase in-store or online until November 12th. Proof of service is required.

Aspen Creek

Aspen Creek Grill is honoring veterans and active-duty military with a $15 meal voucher. Vouchers will be distributed from November 10th through November 12th and can be redeemed starting Monday, November 13th through December 24th. Available for dine-in only. 

Blain’s Barn and Fleet

All veterans and active duty military will receive 10% off their entire purchase from Friday, November 10th – Sunday, November 12th, at Blain’s Barn and Fleet with proof of ID. Offer valid for in-store purchases only. 

Cattlemens

Cattlemens wants to thank all the military folks active-duty or retired—by giving them a free sirloin steak dinner for Veterans Day. Sign up before November 11th, 2023, to get a special steak certificate. This certificate will be emailed to you on November 12th and will be valid for dine-in use from November 12th through 22nd. 

Fogo de Chão 

Brazillian steakhouse Fogo de Chão offers active-duty military and veterans half off their meals, plus a 10% discount for each of their guests when they dine in from November 11th through November 12th. 

Ikea

Veterans and active-duty military members with valid ID can enjoy a free entree in the IKEA Swedish restaurants from November 10 to 12, 2023.

Kohl’s

In honor of Veterans Day, Kohl’s is offering a 30% discount to active and former military personnel, veterans, and their immediate families in stores throughout Veterans Day weekend from Friday, November 10th to Sunday, November 12th.

McCormick & Schmicks

McCormick and Schmicks is offering 50% off any entree from their Veterans Day menu to veterans, National Guard, gold star parents, and gold star spouses on Sunday, November 12th. 

Pilot Flying J

In honor of Veterans Day, Pilot Company expresses gratitude to military service members and their families with a free meal available at over 750 participating Pilot, Flying J, and One9 Fuel Network travel centers across the nation.

Rite Aid 

At Rite Aid, veterans and active military personnel can enjoy a 15% discount from November 10th through 12th by presenting their military ID in-store.

Ruby Tuesdays

Veterans, retired, and active duty military can choose between 1 Free American Smashed Burger, Ruby’s Cheeseburger, or Endless Garden Bar Entrée at Ruby Tuesdays from November 10th until November 12th. Must provide proof of ID.  

Taffer’s Tavern

Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy 50% off any entrée at Taffer’s Tavern on Sunday, November 12th. Stop by to try a signature sandwich from Jon Taffer’s eatery.

World of Beer Bar & Grill

At select WOB locations nationwide, veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy a free order of WOB’s limited-time Fall food item, the Crispy Chicken Sliders, from November 9th through November 12th, 2023.

Insomnia Cookies

Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free 6-pack of cookies (with any purchase) from Insomnia Cookies through 3 am on November 13th. 

Kona Grill

Kona Grill is expressing gratitude to all veterans and active-duty military by offering 50% off all food at Kona Grill. This offer extends from Friday, November 10th, through Monday, November 13th for dine-in only. Proof of military ID is required. 

Kings Family Restaurant (PA)

In observance of Veterans Day, Kings Family Restaurants are offering veterans and active military members a free meal from a select menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner on Monday, November 13th. Offer available for dine-in only.

Fox & Hound

On November 13th, veterans are invited to savor a complimentary meal at Fox & Hound. This special offer is valid for dine-in experiences at all locations, excluding Schaumburg, Illinois, and Arlington Heights, Illinois. The menu features enticing free meal choices such as a cheeseburger, crispy chicken sliders, drunken chicken tenders, BBQ chopped salad and boneless wings.

Golden Corral

For over two decades, Golden Corral has celebrated Military Appreciation Night, honoring active and former military members with a free buffet meal. This year’s event takes place on Monday, November 13th, from 5 pm until close.

Guacamigos

Guacamigos is offering veterans and active military members a free meal from a select menu on November 13th. Select menu items include Grilled Chicken Quesadillas, Carnitas Tacos (2), Combo #1, Chicken Tinga Tacos (2), or a Taco Salad.
