2025 VA Disability Pay Charts – Effective Dec. 1, 2024

VA disability rates increased 2.5% in 2025 over the previous year. The rate increase took effect in December 2024 as part of the 2025 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) announced by the Social Security Administration (SSA).

This is a look at the 2025 VA disability pay rates. The pay charts will give you an idea of what the 2.5% increase will look like on your budget.

2024 VA Disability Rates Charts – Effective Dec. 1, 2023

In 2024 VA disability rates received an 3.2% cost-of-living increase based on the Social Security Administration’s 2024 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA). For a 50% disabled veteran with a spouse and one child who currently receives $1,215.82 per month, this amounted to about $38.91 more per month.
