Montgomery GI Bill-SR (Chapter 1606) rates are listed. The effective dates are Oct. 1, 2021 through Sept. 30, 2022.
This year’s rates increased by about 2.52% for most students from the previous fiscal year.
Yearly inflation costs raise the price of education, so education benefits rise every October to keep up with inflation-driven demands.
MGIB benefits are for up to 36 months of schooling, and one school year is about nine months in total, so benefits should cover up to a four-year degree.
