- About Me
I was in Dong Tam Vietnam for 13 months 18 days, Begining entry into Army 23,Sept 66. Regular Army enlistment, M.O.S 44C40 Staff Sgt. was latter promoted to SFC. Class. My education and experience include. Attending several colleges which allowed me to become a College instructor at San Diego State college, Product engineer for the state of California etc!, I am semi-retired while doing research and development on a variety of Mechanical products. I am currently seeking the purple heart medal as a result of shrapel wounds received on 2-26-69 the night that the Ammo Dump blew up. I have my Captains as well as a Cheif Warrent Officer as witnesses to the event. I live in Montana and enjoy Hunting and Fishing in this beautiful state.
- Words of Wisdom
We all experienced P.T.S.D. in one form or anouther I am rated at 100%. I would say my words of wisdon is that the Army is not allways correct on follow thru! I went through 5 Tet Offensives recieved a bunch of Medals however the one that I earned but did not receive was the purple heart! Sooo! my Words of Wisdom is to be deligent and allways follow thru especially when dealing with the Army.
