Enjoyed my first five years on jump status with the Screaming Eagles (101st Airborne Division)in Fort Campbell, climbing the ladder from Pvt. to Segeant. In 1964 attended OCS at Fort Benning, Georgia and was commissioned a 2LT Infantry; entered the Army Ordnance Corps in 1966 where I spent the rest of my military carrer till retirement in 1979.

About Me

Immigrated to the US as a teen and attended Georgia Military Academy, College Park, Georgia from where I graduated in 1958; entered military service and served at Fort Campbell, Kentucky until attending OCS in Fort Benning in 1964. Assignments included weapons instructor at the Infantry Center and School in Fort Benning, command of a maintenance company in Korea with the 2nd Infantry Division and a second command of the 632nd HEM Company (GS), 79th Maintenance Bn.in Viet-Nam , an assignment as a staff officer with 6th Army Hqs at the Presidio of San Francisco and a staff assignment at Monerey, California
