- Machinest Mate aboard several ships, Mostly on the Richard E Byrd ( The Fighting Richard E Byrd) as the ship was called until 1978 when it was decommissioned and sold for scrap to turkey. I spent time about the USS John F Kennedy Aircraft Carrier. Most people tell Me I'm nuts but the part of My Navy carreer was Basic Training, and My one big regret was listening to My company commander and not going into Seal training because He told Me I'd never make it.
