I have been retired from the Army since 2001, I move to Roanoke Virginia in 2007 I work for a Computer Software company that writes Military software for all branches of the service. I was able to graduate from College in 2006 with a bachelors degrees in Logistics and in Project Management, I am currently pursuing my MBA with a minor Logistics. I have three daughters the youngest is 21, and the oldest is 25, I have five grandkids,my middle daughter is on active duty stationed at Fort Campbell Ky,she has one combat tour in Iraq and in March 2008 will go again for the second tour. I think that we need some leaders in our military that will stand up and say what the hell is really going on. Not Puppets !like we have now as our Senior Leadership in the military ! What ever happened to the Real Leaders ! the ones that didn't worry about if they said the wrong thing they would lose there stars ! I guess that was the old Army ! Well I am glad I got out before the new soldiers took Charge !

My words of wisdom to the new soldiers would be to continue to do your job, Keep your head up Soldier! I know at times you think there is no one listening to what you have to say well there is and all of us that pave the way for you will never forget what we went through. You have a mission, and that is keep pushing until your time is done, never let anyone tell you that it's over and stop moving forward because, you control your own future, never give that away by doing something stupid ! Stay Strong ! and Be Real ! Remember you are the best Fighting Force on the Earth and don't forget it, Because I didn't ! Airborne !
