About Me

Entered Active Duty June 1986 as a Cavalry Scout. Stationed at Ft. Knox (D-5C-1), then Buedengen, Germany (A Troop, 3-12 CAV, 3rd Armored Division), and then to Ft. Polk (A Troop, 4-12 CAV, then A Troop, 3-1 CAV, 5th Infantry Division). After 4 years of Active Duty, I headed for college, but stayed in the Kentucky National Guard where I served with the Scout Platoon, 3-123 AR, 2nd Army. I ended my time in the military there. After a 5 year break, I joined the Ohio National Guard. I transfered to Kentucky and was assigned to the 2123rd Transportation Company as a HET operator. I did that for 6 years. At the end of my enlistment, I joined the Army Reserves at Ft. Knox and was mobilized with 3rd 337th TSB, 85th DIV (IT) as part of the OPFOR team. I was commissioned into the Medical Service Corps and then transfered back to the National Guard and was assigned to the 1163rd ASMC, to gain practical experience. I deployed to Iraq as the Medical Platoon Leader, 1st 149th IN.
