Plan to graduate with BSN from Eastern Michigan University in Dec. 2008. Will then apply for commission.

About Me: I am about to graduate with my nursing degree this winter. I am married to a fellow military member, Michael Teen, who deployed with me to Iraq last year. I am currently editing a journal that I kept while deployed. I intend to publish in the fall. We are planning to start a family this summer and are excited about picking our lives back up after the long deployment. I like to shop, eat, drink, and be merry. People are always surprised to find out that I'm in the service. I'm not the typical Army female, but I do enjoy being in.
Words of Wisdom: Work hard, learn to suck-up the bullshit. Keep your mouth shut becasue no one wants to hear your whining. Make friends with as many folks that you can in your unit, because they will become your family when you are deployed overseas.
