About Me: I returned to Massachusetts in August of 1967 and started teaching school in September of 1967. I was in the active reserves until 1972. They made all company grade officers serve in the active reserves upon out discharge from active duty. We had trouble with the field grade officers as none of them had been where we had been and thought straight out of the field manuals so most of us opted out as soon as possible.
