About Me: I enlisted in the army January 18,1951 in Des Moines Iowa.I had just turned 17 on January 11,1951.I arrived in Korea in August 1951,I served in the 7th Infantry Division,Company K,31st Infantry Regiment.Departed Korea August 1952.Served in Vietnam from November 1965 to January 1968.I served with Advisory Team 75 in My Tho.Most of my service was Infantry and 4 years in the Armor units.I served in Europe for a total of 9 years.I retired in May 1979 in the grade of Command Sergeant Major.I live in Nashua Iowa,I am 73 years of age.
