My father was Army, 1st Infantry. He was KIA in South Vietnam on 6/30/66.... I was born five moths later. I have always wanted to meet or talk to someone who knew my father while in service. I know as time passes the chance of that happening is greatly reduced. He was only there 40 days when he was killed at age 20. I know 40 days was probably a long time in the span of his short life.
