Looking for soldiers who served in the Aleutian Islands during WWII. My father was in the Army at the time worked as a Medic and then as a Mechanic rising to SSGT in charge of the motor pool when he mustered out in 1945. Any info would be greatly appreciated. His name was Alfred L. Roberts, he went by "Al" or "Tex".
