USS Scott DDG-995 in Hurricane Grace (aka the 'Perfect Storm')

The Mk 45 5"/54 deck gun partially obscured by the wave is 30+ feet above the waterline, and 50 odd feet back from the 'Bullnose' at the front of the ship. This picture was taken just prior to the weather decks being secured (placed off limits) as the storm began to get rough... ie it got worse after this.
